Bittangabee Campground
I booked out of the Rio Rita Caravan Park at Batemans Bay, then had a spare day before my Wonboyn Lake stay started, so I looked online and found Bittangabee Campground in the Beowa National Park, which surrounds Green Cape.

Bittangabee Campground is an incredibly beautiful place with much wildlife. I saw a possum, many bandicoots, a large gonna, a lyrebird.
A short walk takes you to Bittangabee Bay – a picturesque sheltered little beach. I shot a video during the walk down, but when I arrived at the beach, it was populated by a family – I got embarrassed and stopped the video.

There is no mobile reception here, but I set up my Starlink, and caught up on emails etc. Many trees here but Starlink ran impeccably after I placed on top of the Troopy,

My next-door neighbour had a campfire going, and I spent a couple of enjoyable hours chatting around the fire with him.
The next morning I packed up and headed off to Lake Wonboyn.
