I used to camp at Oallen Ford about 20 years ago – it was a beautiful spot on the Shoalhaven River, got to via a dusty windy gravel road.

I was hoping (a little foolishly I thought), that you could still camp there. I didn’t actually hold out much hope as I had read that camping was no longer allowed. I found out that was a campsite – but the crown land still allows camping. I found out later this is not correct – the large “Crown Land” sign had the “No Camping” icon spray-painted white.
